Why Take Lessons with Me?

  • Personalized, science-informed instruction: Your lessons are tailored to your unique voice, goals, and musical style, grounded in a clear understanding of vocal anatomy and function.

  • Holistic approach: We focus not just on pitch or technique, but on posture, breath, resonance, articulation, and mental barriers that may be affecting your singing.

  • Safe, supportive environment: Your voice is personal. Lessons are designed to be encouraging, affirming, and creatively inspiring.

Your Lessons, Your Music

I primarily teach contemporary music, working with styles that resonate with you—pop, musical theater, jazz, R&B, and more. Lessons are tailored to your musical interests and goals, blending healthy technique with expressive artistry. You’ll develop a voice that is both sustainable and authentic, ready to perform or simply enjoy singing with confidence.

What We’ll Work On

Each lesson combines technical foundation with creative application, covering:

  • Vocal Technique & Breath Support: Learn to engage your diaphragm and maintain healthy, sustainable vocal production.

  • Posture & Alignment: Optimize your physical setup for vocal ease and projection.

  • Pitch, Range & Intonation: Explore your full vocal range and develop control, accuracy, and expressive flexibility.

  • Vowel Shapes & Resonance: Shape your vowels and resonance to support clarity, tone, and style.

  • Ear Training & Musicality: Strengthen your listening skills, interval recognition, and phrasing.

  • Confidence & Expression: Learn to convey emotion and storytelling in your singing.
